Remote control

Clutch speaks the obs-websocket v5 protocol, so tools built for it can control Clutch: Elgato Stream Deck, Touch Portal, Streamer.bot, phone remotes and your own scripts.

1. Settings → Remote control → turn on Enable server.
2. Keep Require password on (otherwise anyone on your network could connect) and copy the password, or click Generate for a new one.
3. In your tool, add an obs-websocket connection with the address shown in Clutch (port 4455 unless you change it) and the password.

You can then switch scenes, start and stop recording and streaming, mute sounds, show and hide sources, and run your macros, which tools see as hotkeys.
